Introduction to GR9 Titanium Alloy Pipe!
GR9: nominal composition Ti-3Al-2.5V National standard: TA18
Commonly known as semi TC4 alloy
GR9 titanium alloy pipe
The tensile strength is generally around 600MPa. Belongs to medium strength titanium alloy pipes.
Higher strength than pure titanium pipes and lower price than TC4 titanium alloy pipes.
Titanium alloy tube is a new type of metal, and its performance is related to the impurity content of carbon, nitrogen, hydrogen, oxygen, and other impurities. The purest titanium iodide impurity content does not exceed 0.1%, but its strength is low and its plasticity is high. The performance of 99.5% industrial pure titanium is: density ρ= 4.5g/cm3, melting point 1725 ℃, thermal conductivity λ= 15.24W/(m.K), tensile strength σ B=539MPa, elongation δ= 25%。
The GR9 titanium alloy tube will not break, rust, or corrode in any atmospheric environment. It is so resistant to corrosion that it does not even require any paint treatment. We only lightly rub its surface to enhance its natural color.
